It All Starts with Strategy. What’s Your Strategy?

Sales success starts with strategy.

You need a clear sales strategy and you need to clearly communicate that strategy to your sales team.
If you don’t have a clear strategy or your sales team doesn’t understand your strategy, you’re not likely to achieve your goals. Furthermore, an unclear or misunderstood strategy is a prescription for confusion, wasted effort and wasted money.

Job #1 is to devote the necessary time to developing your sales strategy. It’s the key to your success.
Ask yourself three questions:

  • Where do I want to be in five years?
  • Who is my ideal customer?
  • Why would he/she buy from me?

That will get you started toward an effective strategy.

The systems you use to implement your strategy will depend on your goals and your budget. The systems are important but they will be ineffective without a good strategy.
